DRIED FRUIT DIRECT
Dried Fruit Direct is situated close to the town of Prince Alfred’s Hamlet, in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It is centered in the pristine fruit producing area of the fertile Ceres valley.
Dried Fruit Direct’s world class BRC accredited facilities and Waboomsberg Boerdery / Farming is the primary source of the core products namely apples, pears, peaches and apricots. With recent extensive upgrades to the facilities, Dried Fruit Direct also process a range of citrus, tropical, berry, soft eating fruits and value added products.
The Waboomsberg Boerdery / Farming fruit is produced on two production units at the base of the Waboomsberg- and Matroosberg mountains. The region is ideally suited for the production of dried fruit and is well known for the quality that doesn’t only look good, but is also healthy and tastes great!
Being a sixth generation farming and drying, family operated business, ensures that Dried Fruit Direct produces and exports the best quality dried fruit globally.
FROM FIELD TO FORK
As a fruit processor, Dried Fruit Direct is run today by Daniel Conradie who is the sixth generation in his family to farm in this area. With this great tradition, we pride ourselves on being the primary producer of fruit throughout this very well known fruit growing region.
Having extensive local knowledge and experience of cultivating the best fruit, we apply the best drying techniques with our state of the art tunnels for oven drying to ensure premium quality is produced every time.

Dried Fruit Direct is heavily involved throughout the whole value chain, from farming to processing, drying and packaging, through to marketing and distribution, allowing for traceability and due diligence straight from the farm directly to the consumer.
